5/18/08:
Nick Schumacher ~ Super Late Model ~ Qualified 5th ~ WON the Fast
Dash ~ 70 Lap Feature: Started 6th, by Lap 17 took the lead for the next
42 laps, then we started losing momentum, ended up 3rd, realizing
afterwards we had a broken rear shock.
Steve Apel ~ Limited Late Model ~ Qaulified 2nd ~ Fast Dash: 5th
~ 25 Lap Feature: Started 9th, gradually moving up to 7th, when involved
in a crash ending Steve's evening early.
5/25/08:
Nick Schumacher ~ Super Late Model ~ Qualified 17th ~ 80 Lap
Memorial Day Feature: Started 17th, a crash on lap 15 took out many
cars, moving Nick into 7th; a few laps later moved up to 4th, he was
involved in a spin on lap 35, he was sent to the back. He moved up to
8th by lap 64, when the weather moved in and the track called it a
night.
Steve Apel ~ Limited Late Model ~ Qualified 5th ~ WON the Fast
Dash - led all 5 laps ~ 25 Lap Feature: Started 5th, by lap 10 moved up
to 2nd and with the laps winding down on the 25 lap feature, Steve tried
the outside groove for the lead on lap 23 but just couldn't get it done,
filing in at 3rd for the finish.
